June 1st – finally on the road!!

Yesterday our mechanic fixed all of our problems and taught us more about our RV than the dealer did.   We love him!

So today we struck out today at 9:15 am – not bad since we had planned a 9 am departure.  We drove 404 miles in 9.5 hours with 2 stops.  Beautiful day for a drive – everything is so green.  And we can see a whole lot sitting up so high.  Now we’re sitting in an RV spot at an Ohio rest stop – what a novel idea!  There is an electric hookup, you’re only allowed to stay one night, and there’s a Starbucks inside!  What more can you ask for!  Oh wait – Carol made dinner!
